A few of my favourite things

I find joy in all kinds of things. A steaming Americano with a little cream. Checking items off my to-do list. A great outfit with the right accessories. Receiving a card in the mail. Freshly painted nails. I could go on and on.

But I also find joy in sharing the things I’m enjoying. Products, places, recipes, whatever. So tonight I thought I'd share an assortment of recent and random favourites.

Chris is a budding coffee connoisseur and I’m happy to entertain my vice one sip at a time. We recently purchased a Zaussenhaus manual hand crank coffee mill. That’s right, we hand grind our beans. It sounds ridiculous but this baby helps make a mean cup of coffee.


Taking cues from The Sartorialist, lookbook.nu is an online community that exists to showcase global street fashion. It’s an amazing hub of fashion inspiration. Some styles are completely over the top, others, much more wearable.

Did you know that you’re not actually supposed to shake a Polaroid picture? Sad discovery. What’s not sad is the Polaroid 300 I got for Christmas. Simple to use and it develops oh-so-vintage mini Polaroid shots in seconds.

The Maddie Moccasins by House of Harlow, Nicole Richie’s line, are my new fav in footwear. They’re insanely comfortable, versatile and trendy. You can wear them above the ankle of folded over to change the look.
