I like what Carey likes what Grey Likes

Bloggers and blogettes share a common bond. Most of us ventured out to share a little something with the cyber world not knowing where some casual online journaling would take us. Alexandra’s Joys has taken me to the little desk in our kitchen, to my local Starbucks and back. Okay, so I’m no Pioneer Woman, but this humble web log has been a great way to channel my creativity and passion for the written word.

I’ve missed blogging and throughout a crazy December, I realized how much writing is a true and positive outlet for me. We all need activities in our lives to keep us sane and balanced. I’m back at my keyboard and I’m excited.

Wedding blogs were my original obsession and I will admit I still love pouring through the beautiful pages and pages of inspirational images and captions. Some favourites include Once Wed, Style Me Pretty, 100 Layer Cake and Grey Likes Weddings.

Imagine my excitement to find out today that Grey Likes Weddings “likes” the increasingly talented Carey Shaw, who you’ve heard before was our insanely talented wedding photographer. Now imagine my even greater excitement to see that a few of our weddings photos were featured on Grey’s blog under the Photographers section.


Wedding inspiration makes me warm and fuzzy. Perhaps I’m destined to one day work in the whirlwind industry. Which reminds me, Anthropologie made an announcement last Spring that they’ll debut a wedding line in March 2011. Can you even imagine that goodness?
