Autumn has officially arrived and as much as I’m in denial, it’s time to retire my sundresses and sandals. A change in season is the perfect time to take an inventory of your closet, sort through what needs to go and what can stay, and decide what you want to add to your wardrobe for the new season.
My closet is a happy mix of classic investment basics and trendy less expensive pieces. If you go through clothes like I do, finding a good local consignment store is a must. I take my goods to Trends Fashions in Kensington. Whatever they don’t sell goes to charity. Whatever they do sell, I get a lovely check that goes back into my clothing fund.
I’m currently on the hunt for a few key Fall pieces:
Jewel tone coat
Skinny cargos
Chunky gold watch
Now that's my kind of hunting. What’s on your hit list for Fall?

My fall items in search for:
The perfect brown leather boot with gold/silver embellishments
A turquoise and red tartan scarf (preferably cashmere)
Where is that jewel tone coat from?
It's gorgeous. I'll keep my eyes out for your fall items and let you know if I find anything similar to your wish list.
Fun blog AJ, congrats on your marriage.
First of all, fall weather. Then, a cute coat, some jeans, and maybe a few more shirts to round out the wardrobe, and always more gold jewelry. I just found out that I wear "warm" better than "cool", so I'm going to have to go through my closet and sort through things.
Lovely..
I saw some cute cargo skinny's on the H&M site.. you should check em out.
you inspire me to make up words like... blogette, blogetter, blogettest,.... you just inspire me all over....you little fall fairy!
